Rashtrapati Bhavan

 

Beating the Retreat, held on January 29 each year, marks the end of the Republic Day celebrations. At exactly 6 pm the buglers sound the retreat and the National Flag is lowered, with the National Anthem being played in the background.

With the majestic Rashtrapati Bhavan, brilliantly lit up as the backdrop, the ceremony will also have a parade by select contingents of the armed forces and their bands. It’s a must-visit event for every Indian citizen.

The entry tickets are priced at Rs.50 and 20 respectively. For details please call 23019711.

I would like to witness this majestic ceremony. Regrettably, the telephone number you have provided is incorrect/non-existent. Can you please from where and how to obtain tickets for this. Regards, Arvind Kapur
