This is Vikki Varma dancing since 2001 as a professional in Mumbai and Delhi. I have been teaching the dance formula for over 2 year to people from all sorts of diverse backgrounds which include Faculty at Elite Model Management - School of Modeling and Grooming, Fitness Clubs, Promoting Hotel Bar & Lounges, Corporate offices – Airtel, HCL, Cadence, TCS, dance academies, schools, etc. Besides, I also run a personal studio on the above mentioned address.

I specialize in all party & couple dances.

(f) Jazz & hip hop (styling)

My aim is to make every individual a perfect dancer, who could dance on any music with prominent steps & style. Apart from enhancing own Persona & Styling, my techniques would also help to improve body posture & language—which would further enable them to go a long way in their personal life too..

A new intensive course has been designed to learn fast & follow the rhythm and beats of the music.

Duration: according curriculum design\ flexible
Elementary & basics 1mth
Intermediate & steps 2mth
Advance & performances 3mth
1 mth. = 8 learning classes* @ Rs. 2000/- per individual. + 8 Practice classes = 16 Classes
1hr class= 50 mins (learning) 10 mins (warm up & cool down through jazz & smart Hip-Hopp steps)
Alternate days twice a week OR Weekends
The Studio offers four* beginning classes per week and you may come as often as you like. Most people will take Beginning Salsa for one or two months before feeling comfortable enough to move to the next level
Music and literature can be made available on demand.

With an endeavor to add Salsa in the life of all dance enthusiasts, I started Lets Dance Company which specializes in teaching Salsa & Merengue, apart from various fusions –Latin, western Dances and have been in the business for the past 3 years.

Well, we can certainly teach ANYONE how to dance! feel comfortable and express themselves on the dance floor with a higher level of confidence. Our mantra is DANCE IS THE ULTIMATE MEDITATION.

Now days, People are looking for alternative fun-ways to workout, rather than spending grueling hours in gym with monotonous machines. The FANCY FOOTWORK AND STEPS once learnt with skillful precision, remains life-long, which can be used anywhere for self enjoyment and also being a spectator’s DELIGHT!!

And then there’s the all-important fitness aspect.
A vigorous dance class will do as much for your fitness as a gym session. Not only is it more sociable but also enhances cardio vascular muscles more than any workout.
30-40 mins. of salsa or fast merengue dancing will really get your heart pumping. It is as good as half an hour on the treadmill or an hour of aerobics.

Calories consumed per hour—ballroom: 180-300
Jive or merengue: 300-400
Salsa- 400 and above.
It relaxes you, takes you away from the stress of daily life. After working hectic long-hours, you need a kind of relaxation that takes you out of your chair and gets you moving. The peppy music playing automatically diverts your mind. In fact, when people who are highly disturbed and distracted by problems go, for quiet forms of wellness like yoga and meditation, the concentration doesn’t come too easily for them. With dance, the loud and lively music gets you going in its own way.

Moreover, just like you feel good when you dress up well, and have your hair and face looking great, a good dance session makes you feel very special, it gives you a high. It gives you an inner feeling that makes you feel joyous and happy. And this is reflected in the way you look at other people and interact with them.
The more experienced you get into dancing, the more you start being disciplined about posture, and also the way you interacts with other men and women. It gives you a formal outlook, as you are conscious about how you hold out your hand to someone when asking them to dance, how and where to hold a lady while dancing….these matters of etiquette, which soon reflect on how you walk and how you talk, evolve you into being a more refined & sensitive individual.

We conduct a variety of, short-term courses as well as workshops in Latin American, Salsa and Western Solo-Dancing. These courses and workshops are conducted at centers of our own as well as at locations of your corporate and institutional area.

What would be the content of the Workshops and Courses ?

Workshops focus on Fun. They usually involve an introduction to a particular dance style and a few basic steps. The number of people that can be accommodated in a workshop is much larger than a course. Workshops may also be intensive over a few days to learn much more.
Courses are much more in-depth with sustained interaction over time. Though the element of fun is retained, an underlying level of seriousness is what comes in. A course accommodates fewer students and many more dances and moves. Courses may sometimes stretch over months or sometimes be encapsulated to fit a few days or weeks.

Methodology

Fun! Our objective is to ensure that everyone has lots of fun and everything that we do is aimed at that. Our environment and attitude towards participants is very light, easy and informal. Our classes are always high on energy-levels. While at the base of it we are extremely professional in delivering quality, we always want people to laugh with us all the time, and explore ahead!
