The cane furniture from Bareily is probably its most famous export. However there is more to this town sitting on the banks of the river Ramganga. As any devotee of Lord Shiva will agree it is an important city of pilgrimage with the four nath temples situated in the city’s four corners. It was also from Bareily that the famous Sufi-Barelvi sect Islam was born under the guidance of Ahmed Raza Khan.
