Delhi Metro
World Class Ambience
Delhi Metro is a world-class metro. To ensure reliability and safety, it is equipped with the most modern communication and control system. Ticketing and passenger control are managed through Automatic Fare Collection System. Traveling in Delhi Metro is a pleasure, with trains are available at every three minutes interval. Entries and exits to metro stations are controlled by flap-doors operated by ‘smart-cards'. For convenience of commuters, adequate number of escalators is installed at metro stations. Metro routes are planned in coordination with other modes of conveyance in order to fill the null of the public transportation system.
Fare Structure
There are three types of Ticket Options available for commuters:
1.Travel Card
This is useful for daily users or frequent commuter. These travel cards are available in the denominations of Rs. 100, 200 and 500. A travel card carries a Refundable Deposit of Rs.50 only and has a validity period of 1 Year. There is no extra charge for renewal.
2.Tourist Card
This can be extremely useful for tourists who wish to travel unlimited over short periods. There are two kinds of cards available in this category - 1-Day Card of Rs. 70 and 3-Day Card of Rs. 200.
3.Token
Single-Journey Tokens available for one way journey and costs according to the distance between the two destinations. These tokens are valid only on the day of purchase.

ya definitely bcoz 2day wen sum1 travels in an INDIAN RAIL and then he jst move out and travel in a metro he will surely realize a HUGE difference....
right now i m in JAIPUR persuing my engineering and realy missing my hometown DELHI, EVERYTHING EVERYTHING of DILLIIII
