Why go to Dubai for shopping when Delhi offers multiple bonanzas at cheaper rates in the present shopping season. Delhi appears to be in the grip of shopping fever that started from mid-January. To cap it all, HT City is launching its Shopping Festival that is to start today the 6th February and will continue till March 9. The shopping mega event comprises of ten major shopping markets that have come together for the HT City shopping festival. The avid shoppers are likely to remember this shopping bonanza for times to come. A large variety of merchandize including goods from luxury items to life style products will be on display.
The malls have developed a clever ploy to keep the men folk busy watching entertainment shows, reading books, enjoying foods and beverages while their wives, girlfriends, mothers or sisters go on the shopping spree.
The entire shopping festival will be spread over malls bearing serial numbers and names. Most of these malls indicate names of the areas where they are actually located. Some of the participating malls are:
The other malls are: 1. Khan Market, 2. GK1, M Block Market, 3. Rajouri Garden, 4. South Ex I, 5. South Ex II, 6. Karol Bagh, 7. Lajpat Nagar, 8. CP, 9. Kamla Nagar and 10. a mall from Noida.
Shoppers, who spend a minimum of Rs. 1,000 on certain days, will be awarded coupons which will be available at the festivity counter of every mall. There shall be a lucky draw every week and participants will be able to win grand prizes that may include laptops, bikes, music systems and microwave ovens. Besides the shopping spree, the customers will be treated to fashion shows, performance by the local artists and musical extravaganza every week. With Valentine day round the corner, the lovers can buy a wide range of gifts to express their feelings to those they care for.

I RECEIVED THE CONFIRMATION FROM TEAM ON 23.4.2008 THAT THE GIFT HAMPER WOULD BE SENT WITH IN 8-12 WORKING DAYS BUT I HAVE NOT RECEIVED THE SAME TILL DATE.
I TRIED TO CONTACT THE NUMBERS (9873386636 AND 968386467)THROUGH WHICH I RECIEVED THE MESSAGES SEVERAL TIMES, IN FACT SENT AN SMS STATING THAT I HAVEN'T RECIEVED ANYTHING BUT NO RESPONSE TILL NOW.
I DON'T KNOW WHETHER THEY ARE MAKING FOOL OF SO MANY PEOPLE OR THEY SWALLOWED THE PROMISED GIFT THEMSELVES.

This is totally unethical on part of HT as at the time of event promotion they printed the entire NCR about the event and now they are not even responding. It's not a question of a gift hamper but loss of trust by such a big organisation. We all should write to HT higher ups about the inconvienece caused by them.
