The regional round of the TAKE Solutions World Corporate Golf Challenge – India is being held at the Jaypee Greens Golf Resort, Greater Noida on Saturday, February 2, 2008.
In India there are four qualifiers, West (Jan 19, BPGC Mumbai), (Mar 1, Aamby Valley, Lonavala) South (Jan 26, Eagleton Golf Resort, Bangalore) and North (Jaypee Greens Golf Resort, Feb 2). The top two teams from each region will meet in a National Final at Aamby Valley on March 2 and the World Final is to be played at La Manga, Spain July 2008.
The tournament is unique in corporate golf as this is the official qualifying event for the annual World Corporate Golf Challenge World Final which sees winning corporate teams come together from some 25-30 different golfing nations.
The winning four member team from the national final will represent corporate India at La Manga, Spain in July 2008, the venue of this years' World Corporate Golf Challenge.
The TAKE Solutions World Corporate Golf Challenge – India is supported by Franklin Templeton, Citigold Select, NDTV Profit, Air India, Golf Digest and Power Plate.

TAKE Solutions Ltd decided to extend the National Final to the exotic and testing in as well in Aamby Valley Golf Course in Lonavala near Pune.

Among the participating teams in Delhi are Franklin Templeton, Citigold, Air India, Hero Motors, Golf Digest, MasterCard, Ersnt & Young, Haier Mobile, FICCI, Airtel, defending champions Mercedes-Benz, and others.
In each team of four players, the three best scores of the day are added up to make up the team score. The top two teams from Delhi advance to the national final. Past teams that have represented India at the world final are BPCL, Parle Foods, Standard Chartered Bank, Deutsche Bank (from Mumbai), Indian Airlines, Hero Motors, GE, Golden Peakock & McCann Ericson. In 2007 Mercedes-Benz finished a creditable 5 th of the 25 participating countries and were voted the most popular team of the tournament!)
The TAKE Solutions World Golf Challenge gives Indian corporate teams a unique opportunity to represent their country in the only annual World Golf Championship of corporate teams. Among the other countries participating in the World Final in Malaysia are United States, England, Scotland, Wales, Ireland, Spain, France, Italy, Malaysia, Singapore, South Africa, New Zealand, Sweden, Portugal, Germany, Nigeria and Norway.
