“On Hallowed Ground: Aftermath of the Uprising 1857”, is a must-visit exhibition for all photography lovers as it gives them a chance to admire rare 19th century photographs and reprints from the Alkazi collection, including selections from John Nicholas Tressider, Felice Beato and Samuel Bourne.
The mutiny of 1857 is perceived through documents relating to events that surrounded the bloody encounter between the British and the Indian sepoys.
