Welcome Guest
For those of you who love South Indian food, you must visit ‘Govardhan’ at Adchini. Govardhan is a dual-cuisine vegetarian restaurant, serving both South Indian and North Indian food, but their specialty is definitely their South Indian curries and chutneys.
Items that stand out in the menu include the Govardhan Special Dosa (a generous sprinkling of nuts and two fillings that arrive separately), and the Udipi Special. Their usual South Indian items are also quiet delectable, especially the coconut chutney and the fresh green curry-leaf chutney that they are accompanied with.
They also have a Govardhan Special Thali, which consists of a special rice, idli, vada, dosa, and a sweet dish, as well as an Executive Thali, which is a real value for money. As for drinks, try their buttermilk, it is really good.
Their North Indian fare is the usual vegetables, roti and rice combo. Surprisingly, the most expensive item on the menu is the Maharaja North Indian Thali, which is priced at a little over a hundred rupees. But in general the prices are quiet reasonable and two people can enjoy a good meal in Rs. 250 or thereabouts.
Address: Next to NCERT, Adchini, New Delhi
Price: Rs. 250 for two.
