I had a really bad experience with crossroads helpline and would recommend folks to avoid. I have heard RACE is much better. I am going to try them out soon.
To detail the incident this sunday,after six months of subscription, finally I decided to avail of crossroads helpline service, when my 5 year old Santro broke down.
When I called their helpline after a long wait, I was told that they could not help me because my card was not activated. But luckily or unluckily they agreed to provide service.
I told them that I need INR 200 worth of petrol and assistance in starting the car. I was expecting their recovery van to arrive as mentioned during the time of subscription.
Their mechanic came to my place after 1 hour of wait. He did not have an I-card and was on a bike with no Petrol. He was rude and told me crossroads has not provided him an I-card since he has joined only 1.5 months ago. He also told me that the Battery was completely gone and I had to provide him a battery to be able to start the car. This was strange since Crossroads had promised complete assistance. I called up Crossroads and they told a recovery van would arrive in case this fellow is not able to help. I asked him to get Petrol on which he asked for money first.
Somehow I trusted this guy and gave him money. He got petrol worth INR 100 but it was only 1 litre. Moreover he kept pestering me to get Battery replaced from local mechanic along with him. He was reluctant to push the car as well.
This is not one expects from a service like Crossroads. I would definitely recommend all folks to avoid.

Recently i got innumerable call in 1st week of September regarding renewal of my membership from crossroads. When i asked call-centre executive the date of expiry of my membership i was told it to be 10 September 2011; so i called up their person to my home. But luckily i checked my membership and was shocked to find its expiry date on 25 October 2011. So i made sure that person made me speak to their representative before i sent him back. And instead of apologising, she simply said she had quoted some other date. I told her to contact me after 20 October 2011 for renewal. Again i got a call from same lady today (26 September 2011); and again on asking date of expiry of my membership she again confidently lied it to be 10 October 2011. I have again asked her to call me only when my membership is near expiry. And i know she will again call me to say another lie after 5-6 days.
My earlier experiences:
1. I dont remember date but in 2009 when my car broke down in front of my hospital at AIIMS-Safdarjung Crossing (One of most conveniently accessible points in Delhi) it took them 1.5 hours to reach me after innumerable calls.
2. Once i left my car rearlights on by mistake close to my home. On calling they did come but it took 1.5 hours again. Luckily i was at home that day and didnt had any emergency with any patient of mine.

OVERALL: POOR SERVICE (avail it only if offered FREE)
No one goes to consumer court because it just 300-400 bucks but they are duping NCR-Delhittes by crores of rupees every year.

TO CONFIRM: You can call their helpline and register your complaint (if they pick up their phone ofcourse). I can tell you their response also: WE HAVE BEEN TAKEN UP BY A NEW MANAGEMENT AGENCY RECENTLY; JUST SEE OUR WORLDCLASS RESPONSE THIS TIME). I have heard it 3 times in last 3 years. After careful consideration, i have decided not to continue with them for all my 4 cars this year onward.

I would also like to share my experience with CROSSROAD and would like to Underline that they are nothing but THUGS and Administration just hand in glove to this LOOT.

Today I called them for Flat Tyre and 2.5 Hrs are already gone and still they have not come yet. I am writing this from NH8 so that you guys can be BE AWARE OF SUCH TRAPS.

No Process No body will listen and tehn you will realize that u r an idiot as you are paying for such harassement.

PLEAE DONT BUT ANY SERVICES FROM CROSSROAD EVEN FOR FREEEEEEEEEEEEE.

I am sure many of us are using some emergency Car breakdown service, I am also having same kind of membership Caroxy I used the services only once when I had flat tyre, they came and changed the tyre within half an hour, so I think good.

I had taken membership of Speed in this year 2010. Later it was taken over by Caroxy. I tried many times their call centre nos. 011-43264326 . No response for hours together. Will advise not to go for such an agency who does not care thier customers.

I called the Customer Executive, when I was stuck due to Bad car on NH-8 in Gurgaon. Instead of recieving my car complaint, their customer care executive used slung and used bad language. They do not have know any way to talk with the customer. Their customer executive clearly told, that they are there to make new customer and collect money from customer and they do not provide any service.

My car got punctured on Saturday 17th July'10 and I Lodged my Request for Stepnee Change at 4.00 PM In the evening and was told that my complaint would be attended within 25-30 minutes , however NO SUCH COMMITMENT WAS MADE FULL .
After calling CROSSROAD HELPLINE NOS. ATLEAST 10 TIMES MY REQUEST WAS ATTENDED AT 6.30 PM - ALMOST AFTER 2.5 HRS OF MY COMPLAINT .
AT THE TIME OF AVAILING MEMBERSHIP I WAS TOLD THAT ANY SORT OF COMPLAINT WOULD BE ATTENDED WITHIN 25 - 30 MTS ( EVEN YOUR BROCHURE SAYS THAT ) . , BUT IN ACTUAL U R TAKING MORE THAN 2.5 HRS TO ATTEND TO SUCH A SMALL ISSUE RELATING TO STEPNEE CHANGE .
ALSO I CALLED UP MR DEVENDRA ( SHIFT MANAGER ) ATLEAST 6 TIMES ON HIS MOBILE NO . AND HE TOO DID NOT RESPOND / PICKED UP HIS PHONE .

I HAVE REQUESTED THE COMPANY BY WRITING ATLEAST 10 EMAILS (SINCE JULY 22'10) TO KINDLY REFUND MY MONEY AS I AM TOTALLY DISSATISFIED WITH THE COMPANYS SERVICES BUT TILL DATE ( JUL 28 '10 ) I HAVE NOT RECEIVED ANY REPLY ........ I AM STILL FOLLOWING IT UP WITH THEM....

Once I got stucked up near Chanakya Cinema at midnight, when I was coming from a marriage party of my friend, my car tyre got punctured, then I called Race Peoples, I called them more than 20 times but no one picked-up the phone, then I called to Just Dial and asked them to give me some other car helpline number they gave me Caroxy's phone number I called them on their customer care number on 43264326 and registered my complaint with them. They people came to me within 20 minutes, they reapired the punctured tyre, they charged only 499/- + Rs.20/- (Puncture Repairing Charges) and no call out charges and I reached home safele. I thank Caroxy staff to provide me the best service when I was most in need of that. I will recommend you people also that you can trust on them.

Thanks for your suggestion. I got stuck at sector 21 Noida and got the immediate service through Caroxy at 011 43264326. Though they have charged Rs. 600.00. But they have reached within 20 minutes.

HI I had taken cross croad service...They have untrainnend staf only one or two persons are good. when i toook service they dont told that it only 12 service can take in year ...when i called them then they told i have to renew by 500 not by 400.

The promised service is 25-30 min within NCR. However, I have had to wait for more than an hour on serveral occassions.

Today when my car was stuck on a main-hole and it required assistance to push the car (which was done simply by two men on the road later), I was refused help by your executive on 47090909. He refused to even send a person saying that this job cannot be done by them, it requires a crane. I kept telling him that we need to just push the car but he refused to send anyone. When I asked him his name so that I can make a complain against him, he hung up.

I am left wondering why I am wasting money on your service. I will certainly not get your service renewed this time. Infact kindly payback my balance so that I can discontinue immediately.

I hope you will take this mail seriously, improve your service and take some action to satisfy you unhappy customers.

On 13th April 2010, when my car was stuck on a main-hole and it required assistance to push the car (which was done simply by two men on the road later), I was refused help by your executive on 47090909. When I asked him his name so that I can make a complain against him, he hung up.

Then, there is no system by which we can make a complain to the Managers at Cross road. There is no phone number for making complain against Cross roads service/officials. If you are interested in serving us atleast give us a place where we can share our grievances with you. I was told that we can write email at:care@crossroad.helpline.com but the messaged failed to reach.

I am left wondering why I am wasting money on your service. I will certainly not get your service renewed this time. Infact kindly payback my balance so that I can discontinue immediately.

I was hopful that you will take this mail seriously, improve your service and take some action to satisfy you unhappy customers but by seeing the number of complains on this site I now feel, cross roads will losse all its customers soon.

I have been a regular customer of Cross Roads since 2005 for Maruti 800. Last year I placed other car (Wagon R )on Cross Roads services.
On 18.4.10 my Maruti 800 broke down near my residence in market place. Since I did not have mobile with me I came home and made a complaint from residence unfortunately with the old card No which obviously was expired. On telling the car number of Maruti 800 - I was surprised to learn that the car was not under services and if I needed services I had to pay Rs.650/- on spot for fresh registration before I could get the services.
Just to ensure whether the card for Wagon R was valid or not, the car number for Wagon R could not be traced with the card number. I literally had to argue for about 30 minutes before I was made to agree to pay Rs.650/- on spot for fresh registration before I could get the services.In the mean while I traced the new card number and placed another complaint and the car could be fixed only after about 2 hrs.Fortunately car broke down near residence and it could be managed otherwise I would have been without any service at late evening time just because the records at Cross Roads are not properly managed.Moreover there is no way to rememer / know the date of expiry as it is not mentioned on the cards / records.Being a regular lady customer such behaviour and services are highly unsafe and unsatisfactory.I request you to look into the matter personally as it can be serious if a breakdown occurs at a distant place from residence

Hi

This is Ajay and i m staying in Delhi. I found this CROSS ROAD An agency who claim that they are the best service provider on road for any kind of breakdown service but i have been using their services from last two years but not even a single time i found thier service good reasons are many. They always promise people that their reaching time to the destination area within 30 - 40 Minutes. I have true experience that they can't reach even in 1 hour once you complaint. Go for any other agency except cross road and race car helpline. They are making others fools only for Rs. 399 per annum. The bludy ___ hole. Careless and stupid. When ever i ask for my car's punctured tyre replacement they never listen properly or their mechanic mistake that mechanic doesn't come on time with required Jack or other equipment. If I would have an authority to shooo them I could have done it. Bludy idiot & Rascals I have seen in my life.

I have Maruti 800 Regn no.HR26Y3457.I am the member of cross road since 2005.Mechanic never reaches on time as they claimed 30 Min service.I would like to share with you today's my very bad experience with cross road.My car's front wheel got punchered at AIIMS parking.I had called on no.407090909 at 11.15 AM.When I enquired about 11.45 about the mechanic, Mr.Alam replied me because of lot of compalints,mechanic will reach another half an hour & mechanic will reach from Hauz Khas.After that I had called at 11.45 AM,He had given me Mobile No.9560412190 of mechanic.I was countinuosly contacted mechancic as well as Mr.Alam,I had not got any satisfatory reply from mechanic as well as Mr.Alam.Finally mechanic reached at 1.15 PM.I had requested Mr.Alam to give me the telephone no.of cross road MD or sr.official,but he had not given me any no.He was told me that he goen not know any nos.

I will not renew my AMC for next year.

Call center guys dont know how to handle it. One such case no. is 201 for today ( 21st Jan.2010), on which I logged a complaint at 8:09 am which was to be availed by my father, and after numerous calls still no one turned up as I write this mail. I would say please survey market before taking their service, may be this is my last year with them. A totally bullshit service when in need.

This is the malpractice in India to cram cheat and deceive innocent citizen who just pay just to avail services in case of trouble. But, these theft agencies do not learn and understand that there bread and butter is the customer who pay them. I just purchased a new car and planned to opt for this service. I understand that no-one writes good experiences, however, there should not be even one mistake in Crass Roads service because they are getting paid for bring drivers out of the trouble. On contrary, they are charging to put drivers in double trouble. No car gets disordered everyday. It is once in a blue lime case. Just think if how many cars would be needing there help on every day basis out of 1 Lakh. Probably lesser than 50 cases. YOU GUYS ARE REALLY FOOLISH AND I AM NOT PLANNING TO GO FOR YOUR SERVICE. Hi ! though I have been a customer of your company for quite a while now. But honestly I know what I have gone through. You must realise that the Idea of taking such a membership is to get relived and feel relaxed even in such challenging times. I had faced a similar mechanic from your company who could not understand a simple problem and within 2 minutes said that the car is not starting and nothing can be done. the fuel pump has broken down. Then this SMART BASTARD towed my car to Moti bagh to his friends mechanic shop and charged 550 rupees for fixing the problem by putting an old contessa fuel pump. PATHETIC I must say coz my mechanic fixed it the next morning for 20 rupees only. A wire was just loose from below the dashboard of my ZEN. PATHETIC U GUYS !!

looking a the benefits I decided to take membership from the crossroads, however the experiences were quite harrowing as the vehicle for which I took the membership was driven by my wife and she works in gurgaon where it seems the crossrods dont have a permanent employed team, what they did in Gurgaon was they sent some local extremely impolite mechanic who could only speak in some regional language and was extremely unpleasant to be handled by a woman so my wife had to tell her office guard to intervine and get te vehicle fixed. The experiences were no better in delhi as in the middle of the night right at the centre of dhaula kuan which is hard to miss it took over one and a half hour for the help to arrive and there were many more and similar incidents like these. I would strongly recommend for people interested in buying such membership that please crossroads are overworked and insufficient poor service quality company, please check out the credentials of other companies as they may be new in business and may offer you better services.

I have a cross roads membership. One fine day my car broke down and it was not in a condition to be driven to the service centre. I called up cross road to tow my vehicle untill the service centre. They refused to provide me the service and the reason that they gave was "since today we have a lot of work preassure, we cannot attend your complaint". I some how convinced them them to tow my vehicle, and then they aggreed to tow it only upto 1 km. The mechanic who came to my place said that he would leave my vehicle on the road whereever he finishes 1 km. It was only after i promissed him that i would pay him Rs 800, he took my car to the service center This all happened when it was written in their contract that in case of any break down, they would tow the car upto 5 kms and would charge Rs20 per km above the specified distance. THis is the most Un-professional organisation i have ever faced in my life. no One should agive them any money for any kind of service. The most rediculous part is that their mechanics are all untrained and for any simple reason the say that they do not know anything about this car (whichever it is) and please take the car to the service center

After purchasing a car first thing i thought was to enroll my car under some car help line. some one suggested me cross roads name. i some how gathered their no. and called. they promised me to send their person for registeration next day. i kept waiting. next day again i called , they apologised and promised to send the person but till date i am waiting for the person to come. i felt if they take so much of time to come for registration when it is more of their need what will they do when i will need their help. so thought of going through general reviews and was shocked to read such reviews. Hi, Cross Roads Claims they are there for Last "10 years"..........But Haven't learnt the Lesson...........Out of 30 customers 10 are unhappy shows 33% un-satisfied customer in a segment where they are not deal with "MASS" ............. Actually i also faced the same problem......last week i called Cross Roads people at their land line number as there was some problem with my car.......As I was not a member with cross road these people asked me 399 Plus 150 = Rs 550/- for a yearly package (399 what they charge and 150 for one time service charges).......it was 4.30 in the evening and half an hour was communication which i got from cross roads..........i replaced my tire with the help of some local people (thanks to all those who helped) after changing the tire i gave a call back to these people that after waiting for almost one and half hour there was no-one who contacted me and there was not a revert..............Very next day I got a call from CROSS ROADS some lady called up and said that some one from Cross Roads will come and collect the payment and will give the membership..........again after 4 days yesterday i received another call "Seeking appointment for payment and documentation".............BUT Problem remains the same NO-One turned up...........If you don't have time to collect payment i seriously doubt you After sale services..........This is all because of "POOR SERVICES" .........secondly your call center executives need to be trained as in how to talk with customer reason being they are really bad at it..................

Dear Sir It's not like that. If the people are unhappy with service, then they write it on sites and blogs. But if there are 10 unhappy customers then there are also 20 happy customers who do not write good comments on the internet! If these customers are dissatisfied, I am looking into the matter and make sure their complaints are attended to. This service is not available from any other helpline. Besides, we are the oldest company in the business and have been operating for the past 10 years. We believe Customer is the King and he can judge for himself instead of believing what a few dissatisfied customers have to say!

I have crossroad membership. At the time of selling they promised me that they will reach me within 30 mins when ever required. Today I got some problem. I called crossroad at 9:36 as per there records. And now its 11:15, and after 4-5 calls, I am still waiting for the mechanics. And, moreover, the guyz @ customer care dont kno how to talk. According to them the mechanic came and went back. But I never got any call from any mechanic, nor found any mechanic. I gave the complete address of the location including house number where the car is parked. I have crossroad membership. At the time of selling they promised me that they will reach me within 30 mins when ever required. Today I got some problem. I called crossroad at 9:36 as per there records. And now its 11:15, and after 4-5 calls, I am still waiting for the mechanics. And, moreover, the guyz @ customer care dont kno how to talk. According to them the mechanic came and went back. But I never got any call from any mechanic, nor found any mechanic. I gave the complete address of the location including house number where the car is parked. Hi My name is Ritesh. I have taken Crossroad membership in the month of June'09. Day before yesterday (i.e. 4/8/09) I faced a problem in my car late in the evening at around 10:00 PM. I tried calling crossroad but no one picked up the phone over there. Next day morning (i.e. 5/8/09) when I called them at around 9:15 in the morning they said the person will come in 30 to 40 mins but no one turned up. Then I again called crossroad and they said they will be there in 15 to 20 mins. After around 30 mins there was a person from Crossroad to attend the problem but he was not having complete kit of tools to check the problem. Then I told him if you can tow my car to the nearest CNG station which is around 5 KMs away. He said the rope which he is having to tow the cars is not strong enough to tow Indica. He said he will come in an hours time with another rope. Since then till late night (around 12:15) I continuously followed with them for the assitance. Everytime they use to tell me that someone will be there in 30 mins or after a specific time indicated by them but no one turned up. The entire day I was there on road in a hope that now someone from Crossroad will turn up for help. They told me that it takes time to tow the car so this support can't be provided now. The services provided and commitment done by Crossroad customer care people are so poor. I believe they are not the kind of people to rely on. I have done a big mistake by taking Crossroad membership. Thanks Ritesh

This means that he wanted me to stand on the road till 10 to speak to the accounts and after that you all know that what would have happen to spend another couple of hours talking to them and doing the things right. After my insisting he gave me a cell number of one Mr Ajay and I believe that before I spoke to him he had word with his office. Right first thing he said sir I shall get your car checked but no one turn up for long time. After this I was left with no option but to look for a privat machanic who came and check the car and did it right, though it was not major fault either, it was only to cleam battery terminals and thats it. So this was my first experience of the day. NOW HOW CROSS ROAD IS CHEATING CUSTOMERS - I suggest all members should check your payment records as they are charging membership twice a year. Since this time I remembered that last cheque given to them was in September and expiring of membership in April was not possible at all. Respected sir, I have got membership from your help line a long time before but some one week ago I came to know that my card was not activated from your office, when I came across one tier problem in the morning hours at 6 a.m.. It took 3 hours to solve my problem by your office.They solved my problem with a number of request by me but a gentleman warned me that in future that type of help will not be given to me as if activation was my fault. I am a privlidge card holder of cross roads from last 4 years for 2 of my cars.Card No S-84602 is issued on my car No.DL3C AP 5988 and these guys have issued me membership card on my old vehicle no.DLS3C S 9354 which was earlier registered with crossroads itself which was suppose to be on my new car now.After chasing down for more then 3 days which is the TAT to get it resolved as per cusomer care executive. 1. Their site claims-“Free towing to nearest workshop and 24-hour road assistance.” On 14th Aug, 2008, at 7 pm, my car’s front tyre was not able to get out of some mud (i.e. wet soil). I called up at 7 pm and requested Mr. Santosh Upadhayay to get the car towed for just 1 m. He refused to help despite repeated requests. 2. Their site claims-“ Maximum 25 minutes to reach the site within NCR”. I logged a complaint at 7:30 pm yesterday to replace the punctured tyre. But the executives reached at my company's office at Noida at 8:40 pm i.e. after 1 hour and 10 minutes. Next day, I sent a complaint at support@crossroad.co.in; info@crossroad.co.in, but nobody has even bothered to respond to my email till date.

Last Sunday i.e. 31/May/2009 I was driving back to home with my family. On the way G got the flat tyre, when I called CrossRoads they told me that my card is not activated. I provided the info and also told that I purchased this card way back in December'08. But the rep said he can;t help it and I was standing helpless in the middle of the road. Moreover, it's normal when a person is paying for the service and if he is not getting the same he will get furious. Instead of understanding the issue the rep on the other started abusing. That was not my fault if the card was not activated the Sales Person who sold me that card must have told me that I will need to get this activated. Can you please tell me onething? I made the payment through cheque and it got cleared in a week's time. Then why did the card didn't got activated before or after clearing of cheque. This is the heights of dissatifaction for a loyal customer and I would request you to please take care of these issues before you loose the business.

I got a call from customer care, she told me that your membership has been expired in 12th April, 2009 and asked for renew. On my sticker, it is clearly mentioned that my membership is upto 12th July, 2009. such problem was also faced last year. i don't know in the computerized world, how they are managig their record.

This is the incidence of today only . I had flat tyres and good thing was that I was not on the way , my car was at home. I called crossroads @ 6:15 PM and after frequent calls ( around 10 calls where I was put on hold ) they gave me mechanic number at 9:15 PM and asked me to contact him . and finally mechanic reached my place @ 9:45 PM . I am very dissatified with their service. They had a very good service in 2005/2006 . I never wait for them more than 30 mins. but now they are Pathetic. I have faced this issue 3rd time in 2009 and I will never opt these people in future.

I have had the crossroads membership for 2 years and both the years have had awful experiences. After the 1st year subscription when they called to renew, I told them about the bad experience and they promised that it was juat a one off incident. But it has happened 3 times now.Every time they take 2 hours to reach and keep saying that someone will reach in 10 minutes and my wife kept waiting in the car with an infant. She kept calling frantically. First they said that there is traffic jam (at 10 pm!!!!) then they said that the mechanics car has broken down and finally after 1 hour 55 minutes they said that they had too many calls to attend so will take some more time. If they had told my wife in the very first call that they will take long time, she could have looked for an alternative rather wait and morwe important that the infant wouldn't have suffered. All this was besides her telling them everytime that she had an infant along with her. I also had the membership for my second car and they called up for renewal 3 months in advance. I did not check (most people would assume that it must be due for renewal) after 3 months they called again for the same, then I realised that they had taken the money before it was due. I am sure that they must be cheating everyone like this. Please don't waste your money!!!!!!!! BE CAREFUL OF THERE FALSE PROMISES

My membership no. S-87043 These comments are for Mr Arvind of Crossroads. I think you will recognize me. I talked to you regarding the complaint booked at 1.40 today and no body turned up till 2.40. At that time I contacted you and you told me that someone will come withing 15 minutes. After that, you also started not picking my repeated phones. At 3.30 I came to my home by rickshaw. It is around 1 km from that place. At last your person came at 4 o'clock. I went to the spot by my scooter. When I reached there, he was repairing another car. When I asked him to come with me, he asked me to wait. When I told him with some anger that I am waiting from last 2 and a half hour, then only he came to my car. He replaced the Gear Cross and asked for Rs 45 for that part for which the MRP printed on the box was Rs 38.00. This was also not a big issue but when I requested him to come with me to my home so that I can leave my scooter there and come with him to that spot to take my car, he refused. When I told him that I will pay only if he will help me out, He refused and went back without taking any amount from me and also warned me that your membership will be blocked. Before going back, he talked to someone on phone regarding this and when I asked him to let me talk, he didn't gave me the phone. If this is the service I am going to get for the whole year, then I request you to please close my account and refund my amount. Till today you had not activated my account (I gave the cheque on 11 Dec 2008) so you may not have any problem in this. I will try with some other agency. Now I realise that I made a mistake that I introduced a person having 3 cars to your company and he took 3 memberships from you. I feel sorry for him. My previous experience with your company as I am the member of your company from last 5 years is that, I got my membership renewed with a scheme of 13 months renewal and according to that, my membership was till April 08 but when I called up in Feb 08 because of some fault in the car, your company refused saying that my membership had expired. In Dec 08 I renewed my membership only after so many requests from your company that you will be giving perfect service this time. Also the membership was renewed till 31 Jan 2010. My membership card no. is 9000 2379. Unfortunately, I needed your services due to tyre puncture. Today i.e. on 02-05-2009, I made a call at about 11:55 at 011-47090909 and was assured that the mechanic will reach within 20-25 minbutes.At about 12:20 I again made a call and was asked to wait for 15 minutes. Again I made two calls at about 12:45 and 1:15 and finally the mechanic came at about 1:30. Now Is anybody responsible for such a delay? I have been subscribing to you for the last three years and needed your services for the second time only. Do you think we are paying you this money as a donation? If you cannot provide proper services why dont you shut down your shop?

I dont know when will they come back to me for confimration and when will I get this service.................. God knows........ my wordings cheater company by the name of Helpline.....

I took the membership ( S-78103) of crossroad few months back and unluckily OUR CAR BROKE DOWN AT SHADIPUR DEPOT AT 1600 HRS when my daughte was driving it alone while comming from college and i was away in J&k on tour. After innumerable calls their team came at 1700Hrs and after check declared that the car needs towing to garagge. They called their crane and left. The crane came at 2030 Hrs. And towed the car to pitam pura garrage. The crane team asked for Rs600. After contesting by my daughter for all the delay and asking so much for a short distance, a cross road officer on telephone asked to pay rs 300/= which was paid to the crane. The repetition of the line “have a nice day “ and disconnecting was such an irritating we can not explain. Ultimately we had to call an other mechanic and get the job done. Crossroad people did not turnup. I STRONGLY RECOMMEND NOT TO GO FOR CROSSROAD. As it is of no use what so ever.

I took the membership ( S-78103) of crossroad few months back and unluckily OUR CAR BROKE DOWN AT SHADIPUR DEPOT AT 1600 HRS when my daughte was driving it alone while comming from college and i was away in J&k on tour. After innumerable calls their team came at 1700Hrs and after check declared that the car needs towing to garagge. They called their crane and left. The crane came at 2030 Hrs. And towed the car to pitam pura garrage. The crane team asked for Rs600. After contesting by my daughter for all the delay and asking so much for a short distance, a cross road officer on telephone asked to pay rs 300/= which was paid to the crane. It has also been mentioned on the catalogue in the following format: 1. Coverage Areas : Delhi and NCR region 2. Crane attending cost - Within NCT Delhi Rs. 600 3. Crane attending cost - in NCR region Rs. 1000 4. Free Km Coverage - First 10 km starting from breakdown/accident c\spot 5. Per Km Charge - After first free 10 km, Rs. 25/- per km would be charged. Since, your car required crane facility, the attending cost of Rs. 600 was asked for and not the coverage cost. Since only 300 Rs. was paid at that time (on 06 February,2009), Rs. 300 is still due. As our policy, if any amount is outstanding, no further service is provided till the outstanding amount is paid. Soory cross road tumhare employee aur customer service nr tumhe marwa diya. packup ki tayari kar lo. Zyada din nahi chal paoge. TAKE STRONG ACTION TO IMPROVE.

Please note that I am your member vide Card No. 9000 8586 for my Car No. DL8CA 4639. On 20.02.2009 at 2.30A.M. my Car got Punture at highway near Khora village your Mechanic asked me to pay Rs 50 as service charges and my Car couldnot start I asked him to tow my Car upto my residence by he told me that another Car will come to Tow your Car. I Called at your Customer Care for the help he replied that you are unable to pay Rs.50 as service charges and your car will be towed by Crane which will be charged you Rs. 600.00 for the same. because of which I have to spend full night on the road. At 5.00 A.m. I call my freind and he came to tow my car to his house in Vashali. If I have to suffer like this in Late night too than what is the use of taking membership. I need the explaination and refund my amount as I am not intrested to avail this type of services which are harashing services. In morning at 9.21 a.m I again gave the request onceagin but your mechanic didnot bouther to do anything & asked me Kindly reply me for the same. Looking forward for your prompt action. Unfortunately I am member of Cross Road. My Car No is DL3Cv9073. Last year (2008) I took their services in month of Fed and the executive told me there is a scheme running those days and the current card will be valid upto May. He also took a post dated cheque. Executive himself has written expiry date on sticker. But to my surprise in Feb this year (2009), these people told that my card is expired and I need to Renew. When I contacted their support helpline, they were not ready to listen. They did not even had any means to trace the records by cheque number. Even executives on phone dont have sense to speak to customer. Moreover they will offer free towing away of vehicle to nearest service station if required. But when it comes to towing they dont have means. Specially if you have a big car. They will say we have a maruti van and it does not have power to pull big cars and will ask you to call tow away vans and pay to them and cross road people will leave you stranded on road. They just put blame on customer that you are saying wrong. I am planning to approach consumer forum for justice. I suggest if anyone plans to take their service then please be-aware and warned. As it is mentioned in the brochure too, free towing is provided upto 5 km or to the nearest service station, whichever is less. I have two cars with you and one for last 8 years. From early Nov'08 reminders started coming for renewal as was told memebership is expiring. Each time I told they were not correct as I had taken for 15 months and that also in Feb '08. My payment details are cheque no 666337 dtd 20.02.08 and for other one cheque no 666335 dtd 07.02.08. How come nobody reverts even after given assurances everytime AND where is the lapse taking place ? Will you be kind enough to revert. and put your back end in better status.

One night around 11.30I called cross roads helpline for the first time, as my bike had a puncture at Noida. Their phone rang continuously but no one answered. Then I tried their helpline numbers at odd hours to how see their reaction; as expected, I got the same response! When I shared this experience with my colleague, she said had if she known that I was planning to take their membership, she would not have let me do it. She is already a victim of cross roads.

My Membership No S 16701 and have two cars with you. Earlier say two years back your service was good BUT now it is horrible Getting thru you on cell is hurculian task, man comes in 45 mts, they come on motorcycle with no Jack or tools. Earlier Power jack and all tolls were there in your help Car. I had horrible experience today at NOIDA sector 16A. Pl improve or else I swtich after 8 years.

I am manoj gupta i have taken membership of cross road thru this mail i am spreading news for all the vehicleman plz dont take membership of cross roads. plz find the following reasons : 01st Dec'08 my bike has punctured i call to cross road they said our man will reach your destination within 25 mintues i said ok & thanx.... waiting.... 30 minutes after that i called again cross road they said again plz wait another 15 mintues... waiting 25 mintues again i called to cross road agian they said repeate wording again i called to cross road agian they said repeate wording i am stand on the road at mid night think about it chill winter is hitten me I rugalarly follow 8Pm to 10Pm i contiously call to cross road after that i threat to cross road than they said maximum after 10 minutes our man reach your destination. think..... i am really restless bcoz i have paid annually fees to cross road after that also i am restless & lonely. heavy waiting after that cross road mechanic has come by bike no instrument are there , he open the tyre & along the tyre to ashram & solve the case. Instead of trying to go for free ads and publicity you can offer good services to existing customers and choose to retain them. Your hope of providing better service sounds hollow and without conviction considering the tide against your services !

I have gone through some of the messages/complaints and find myself in a dilemma what to do. I have been contacted by this service provider a number of times to take membership i.e. cross road on road help.

I have been cheated by similar service providers in the past who promised a lot but failed to even take my call the very next day when I just tried to get confirmation of my membership. Even the website they provided, found not working.

It is very difficult even to contact them in an emergency what to talk about getting some help or assistance.

I have crossroad membership. At the time of selling they promised me that they will reach me within 30 mins when ever required. Today I got some problem. I called crossroad at 9:36 as per there records. And now its 11:15, and after 4-5 calls, I am still waiting for the mechanics. And, moreover, the guyz @ customer care dont kno how to talk. According to them the mechanic came and went back. But I never got any call from any mechanic, nor found any mechanic. I gave the complete address of the location including house number where the car is parked. And when I said the mechanic never came and gave you the wrong info, the guy replied - " humme to yahi information aa rahi hai, hum kuch nahi kar sakte" When i said I want my money back and want to talk to their manager he replied - Kal 12 baje din main phone kar lena" and hanged the phone. These guyz have reall bad service and the customer care agent dont know how to talk. I wud not suggest anyone to go for this service. There are around 50 guyz in my office with this service, and now I'll share this info about the bad service to anyone. Will never continue with Crossroad. soo... my car was not starting up & battery looks ok & i forgot i had cross roads service. i reached my office in auto .then i remem, i have service. & i was reading all the comments, i was scared that in how many hours it will take to come but they reached to the car in time, but i didnt reached there in time haha.. i waited them 10 -15 mints.
car was started but as it started he ran off quicky, didnt tell WTF was prob in it. i wanted to give 10/10 but wat if it happens again 2morrow. i say 7/10.
