Delhi University or fondly called as D.U. is one of the India’s biggest university which deals in a number of courses and believes in giving education to everybody. There are 73 colleges which guarantees top class education to its students. These colleges have been divided into mainly two campuses- the North campus and the South campus depending upon the geographical area they are placed in. The students can choose from a variety of colleges which offer a number of courses.

If we look in to a student’s life in D.U. we find out that not only studies, but also various other activities surround him for the next three years, the moment he enters the college. As a fresher, he is asked to join any social club which enhances and nurtures a student’s talent. This social club can be anything, be it dance, drama, debate or any other activity which a student is interested in.

The most famous thing about D.U. is its political elections. The students choose a president from the students who are their representatives. This representative has to take care of all the need of its supporters and then only he will be voted. What a politics! No wonder we have so many politicians from D.U.

A new trend that has started in D.U. colleges is the talent hunt or the Fresher contests. This is organised at a very large scale and has got support from the leading newspaper agencies and other brands. This has commercialised the whole procedure of selecting a talent amongst the students. This is definitely a party time for freshers.

Be it education or its youth. Delhi University is such an example of producing some great talents. Shah Rukh Khan, the famous Bollywood star, is also a product of this University only. No matter what happens, Delhi University rocks!
