WEEKEND OPTIONS FOR WORKING PEOPLE
THE PROGRAMMES:
• The Beginner's Workshop
Aimed at anyone who'd like to explore filmmaking basics; esp. students.
• Intensive Programme in Documentary
After intensive inputs, participants develop, shoot and edit a documentary film.
• Programme in Fiction Filmmaking
After training in basics, participants develop, shoot and edit a short fiction piece.
These programmes for anyone who'd like to make a film, but doesn't quite know how...
They are especially for anyone who'd like to explore a career in films/broadcast, but wishes to test the waters beforehand... people who work full time and need weekend-based options... organisations that have video shooting needs; students whose media/communications course is low on video training... and others who are simply passionate about films and filmmaking.
Age is not a restriction. Open to anyone 17-18 upwards.
CONDUCTED BY:
The programmes are principally conducted by Kavita Joshi, an independent filmmaker based in Delhi and an alumnus of FTII Pune. Other filmmakers also provide specialised inputs and training.
REGISTRATIONS OPEN 23 MARCH:
• Programmes begin mid-May and January.
• Classes are held in South Delhi (near Hauz Khas)
• Group size is small, from 12 - 16 people.
