Remember the ad wherein Kapil Dey says: Boost is the secret of my energy.

Have you ever wondered what is the secret of our CM’s energy?

At 71, she works from early morning to mid-night especially during the hectic election days. Besides attending to her official work and meeting people she keeps hopping from one constituency to another delivering speeches.

The secret of her energy is frugal meals.

According to Chander, her cook for over a decade, Madam Dikshit starts her day with morning walk and meditation and follows it up with a sugar free cup of karak—strong-- chai, which charges her battery for quite some time.

Her breakfast consists of one toast, daliya—porridge, sprouts and fruits especially papaya. She never misses her breakfast.

The lunch is made up of one dry chapaati with   seasonal vegetables. She is particularly fond of beans and mushrooms. She ends her lunch with a glass of green coconut water.

Her dinner consists of soup with toast.

She takes nothing except water during the rest of the day.

Any takers for this diet?
