Michael Schiefel has been an undoubted inspiration in the field of music and has taken jazz to a totally different level. Inspired by a desire to join the emerging post-Wall jazz scene, Michael Schiefel moved to Berlin in the early 1990s to study at Berlin's renowned University of the Arts. Since then, he has dazzled his fans at home and abroad with an array of solo and band projects that have yielded a dozen albums over the past decade.

Michael has released three solo albums to his credit and has done experiments that have awed the audience in the touch and flavour of an outstanding master. The awesome ambience of the Kamani Auditorium just seems to be the right place for this kind of an occassion where an audience can just flow with the outstanding experience.
