The Press Club of India is organizing a two-day festival at its Raisina Road premises that promises to bring together the best of Kashmiri food and culture. Titled ‘Jammu and Kashmir Food and Cultural Festival’, the festival is open to the Press Club of India members and their guests and on offer would be a wide assortment of authentic Kashmiri dishes right from kahwa to rishta to goshtaba.
A ‘wazwan’ specialist cook has specially been flown down from Kashmir to prepare mouth-watering dishes for Delhiites. Apart from the food there will also be a special display of shawl weaving on the lawns of the venue. There will also be an exhibition-cum-sale of woollens and handicrafts from Kashmir along with performances by musicians from Kashmir, Jammu and Ladakh.
