As the current decade draws to a close, here is the last chance for all aspirants who may have earlier missed out on opportunities to get a plot through a draw of lots from different urban development authorities like Haryana Urban Development Authority (HUDA), Noida Industrial Development Authority (Noida), Greater Authority Industrial Development Authority (Greater Noida) or even Delhi Development Authority (DDA).
The bookings are now open from HUDA for plots of various sizes ranging from small plots to one canal, in 15 towns in Haryana, through a draw of lot to be carried out three months later in 2010. The booking for same closes on January 5, 2010.
These towns, some of which fall in national capital region of Delhi and others well beyond that, include areas like Faridabad, Palwal, Sonepat, Bahadurgarh and Rohtak, all of which have better investment potential from local government’s perspective compared to few others like Hissar, Ambala, Hansi, Sirsa, Kurukshetra and few more having lower investment potential to appreciate.
Effectively, the scheme is aimed to spread across the entire state of Haryana and as many as 2800 residential plots would be there on offer for buyers across different Tier II and Tier III towns.
For people interested in taking a plot in NCR, Faridabad is likely to be the hot destination as around 1000 out of 2800 plots are in Faridabad alone, across six sectors. Even Palwal, which is right ahead of Faridabad on the NH-2 and is the closing destination of the western peripheral of ongoing Kundli-Manesar-Palwal (K-M-P) express on outskirts of Capital, has around 100 plots to offer.
Amongst the other hot destinations, Sonepat is the area which hosts 274 plots of different sizes for buyers. This is the starting point for K-M-P expressway and has already seen a lot of residential development over the past four years from different builders.
Bahadurgarh and Rohtak are the other industrial destinations with better potential than others on offer, which also have few plots to offer under the new scheme.
The plots offered in other towns include those which have currently got lower investment potential than those already mentioned and may not generate much interest except from local buyers.
As always, some loan facilities for 10% earnest money of plot to be paid with application are available from banks. Apart from same, some reservations for defence people, local government officials, disabled, widows and few others are made taking up the approximate reservation to over 15%.
