Starbucks plans to open its outlets in Delhi and in other parts of India. But before that happens, another famous American coffee chain‘The Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf ‘has opened shop at Select City Walk at Saket  in Delhi. The franchise of the coffee chain is managed by Sunil Kapur of Blue Foods Concept. The shop was inaugurated by the famous filmstar Sunil Shetty a few days ago.
The outlet provides authentic ice blend coffee along with fresh pasta and sandwitches. The ice blend is a perfect mix of slush and cold coffee.
The chain claims that its blend is the first of its kind in the world and that it has even got it patented. The outlet offers different flavours of coffee such as Mocha, Cinnamon, Cappuccino, etc.
Besides the coffee, the teas at the outlet are quite as tempting and are available in a huge range of flavours. While the coffee beans are imported from the South American plantations, the tea leaves are brought from India and Sri Lanka. The chain blends them into their famous type before sending them for sale.
The breakfast menu of the company is very appealing. You can take scrambled eggs, salads and toast for Rs. 130 only. Though presently this combination is available from 8.30 am to 11 am, there are plans to extend the supply throughout the whole day.
According to Sunil Kapoor, Delhi is the perfect place to start the coffee chain. He says, "Surveys show that Delhi consumes maximum coffee."
