Chef and I

Uppal Orchid situated at NH8 near IGI Airport has some delightful restaurant serving from Indian to world cuisines. This article is all about their signature restaurant ‘Chef and I’.

Well why this name, you may wonder, well there is a well thought out logic behind naming the restaurant. At Chef and I you will not find any waiters or waitress coming forward to take down your order. At Chef and I, the cook himself comes down to the table to take down the order thus customizing every dish to one’s taste buds.

Chef and I serve a wide variety of Pan-Asian food and wine. The interiors of this restaurant are spacious with innovative use of metal and glass, soothing pastel upholstery and bright mauve and pink walls complete the creative interiors of this restaurant. Sitting inside one can view the central courtyard of the hotel.

Currently Chef and I restaurant at Uppal’s Orchid has become a great gourmet’s delight, especially for those who love Chinese. Currently the restaurant is hosting a Chinese food festival called ‘Yin and Yang. One can relish wide range authentic Chinese dishes, both vegetarian and non-vegetarian.

For those who love to eat Chinese veg. dishes, I highly recommend anything from the likes of spinach wraps, soybean tempeh, tangy broccoli with apricot and others. Well, not forgetting mentioning the choice for non-vegetarians, there is the rolled lobster with gingered fresh plum sauce, steamed crab meat, roasted Thai spring chicken, chili grilled trout fish and many more.

Well, if you like to have a quiet evening with your friends or family, nursing a drink in your hand, enjoying your food this Sunday, then heading to Chef and I is definitely a good idea.
