With just a few weeks to go for the board exams, various online portals have geared up to offer special assistance to students ranging from counseling to mock tests.

For example, extramarks.com, recently introduced revision packages in a virtual class format to help reduce exam stress and to improve performance among students appearing for the board exams.

At this website students have the freedom to choose from any of the 14 lessons from the list of important chapters on maths and science. Similarly, at learninghour.com, live tutors are offering their expertise in helping students solve their last minute problems. The website is offering a series of mock examination papers for students taking the class X and XII board exams. The website is offering these tests free of costs to students only hitch is that you have to register before using this facility.

According to Chandan Aggarwal, founder, learninghour.com “At a time when students are desperately scrambling to revise their syllabus, we have launched a helpline wherein students can talk to tutors for their last minute questions and doubts by means of video conferencing, a students can see the tutor, talk to him and have him write on the screen like a notebook, using a digital pen”.

Another website steps.tcyonline.com is offering ‘live support’ on its home page. Students can make use of the ‘live support’ in case they have any immediate issues to discuss.

The site is also offering chapter wise tests, revision notes, topic wise assignments as well as offering important tips on stress and time management for students and parents.
