Welcome Guest
India’s largest Audio & Video exhibition was inaugurated on February 2 at Pragati Maidan in New Delhi. This was the 9th AV Max expo featuring the finest home-theatre, electronics and machinery from across the globe. The expo hosted more than 50 exhibitors in a three-day event, attracting top audiovisual manufacturers, music professionals and music lovers from all over the country.
The exhibition offered viewers a rare chance to experience key products from a host of renowned international brands. The expo created a lot of excitement among Delhi’s young professionals, with high-tech music systems, DVD players, loudspeakers and woofers on display.
Delhi, no doubt, is the best place for such a gala exhibition. The city has a growing market for these fine products. Its throbbing, music-loving, gadget-friendly crowd is not restricted by finances. Delhites love to spend on finesse, especially on lifestyle products. Don’t be surprised to see these music systems and home theatres up on display in the living room when you visit someone in the national capital.
Realizing this perhaps, Bose Corporation recently launched its two new quality home theater systems in the V-Class last week in Delhi. They are called Lifestyle V-30 and V-20, priced at Rs191,138 and Rs129,263, respectively. Promises of high picture quality and excellent surround sound have people all geared up for the show. Ratish Pandey, General Manager, Bose Corporation India, said at the launch, “Delhi is an important market for us, and with these two new products we are targeting the premium segment.”
TVs are getting bigger and flatter and 5.1 home theatre systems are becoming more and more popular. This has not, however, reduced the crowd you will see at cinema halls in Delhi. I guess the city never tires of good entertainment.
