After Rajbir left the show yesterday, Gurpreet got slaughtered by the axe of elimination today. It came as an utter surprise to all, as never in the history of Lux Perfect Bride there have been two simultaneous eliminations.

This time the episode revolved around Pooja and Hitesh. From pretty long Hitesh has been claiming his intense love for Pooja. Even his mother has been putting pressure on Pooja for accepting the feelings of her son. Today judges asked Pooja if she has also started liking Hitesh the same way as he does. Pooja revealed that just for the sake of making Hitesh happy, she would not claim her love for Hitesh. Rather she would like to take some more time and come up with an answer from within herself.

Priyanka was again chosen “Bride of the week” this time. She came on the stage and said she misses Rajbir and his mother.She also claimed confidently that she possesses all the qualities that should be present in a perfect bride. Just while the celebrations were going on for her selection, came the suspense as usual. Mother of the week i.e. Hitesh’s mother was asked to name two girls whom she would like to nominate for elimination. Surprised at this unusual elimination, Hitesh’s mom claimed that this was not told earlier. Host of the show pacified her by claiming that if it was not told that doesn’t means that it was not supposed to happen. She looked amazed and completely confused by this sudden announcement. Finally keeping her tension and excitement apart, she named Vrinda and Gurpreet. Hitesh who won the weekly task was given an option to exercise his power of protecting a bride. He said he would like to use this power as for the first time he has won the weekly task. Adding to that he said it’s very difficult for him to name one of the two brides but still he would like to save Vrinda. He said Vrinda still holds a chance to know Vivek whereas Gurpreet was heart broken and he would not like to see her suffering anymore. Gurpreet thanked Priyanka for all the support she rendered in trying to bring Yash and Gurpreet together. She also said that Pooja was like her elder sister and she would badly miss the company of Rumpa and Vrinda. Gurpreet termed Vivek’s mother as a “Rolly Polly Babe” for her cool nature.

Some excitement is going to rock the show soon. Katrina Kaif and Ranbir Kapoor would be visiting Lux Perfect Bride show on November 5th. They are coming to promote their new movie titled, “Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani”.
