Made In India (TM)

Made In India (TM)Made In India (TM)Made In IndiaTM – a reflection of culinary time. At Made in India you experience the memories and prophecies of the great Indian cuisine starring traditional Indian masterpieces and futuristic Indian cuisine. The traditional Indian masterpieces include the rare and forgotten recipes like the centuries old Dorra Kebab(TM) which is the signature dish at Made In India and which has been recreated and introduced by the Chefs at Made In India , Navrattan Kebab and the Grilled Kebab. The quintessential Hyderabadi Kuche Gosht ki Biryani and Avadh biryani and curries such as Dum ka Murgh, Khubani Bhare Kofte are also some of the recipes featuring in the Old Age section of Made In India.

In the recently introduced new menu, we add to our existing repertoire of dishes, with a whole line of Chef’s signature traditional recipes, like the ‘Dum ke Kebabs’.

The magic of ‘Dum’ cooking which began in the time of Nawab Asaf-Ud-Daulah from the late 18th century is now part of our new menu, with some of the Chef’s signature dishes being made available to you. These include Dum Ke Pasanda (pounded mutton cooked on Dum with freshly pounded spices) Nookti Kebab (Mutton Nuggets cooked on Dum with gilawati aromats) Murgh Khagina (A classic chicken mince dish in a medley of herbs and spices).

The New Age or the Futuristic Indian cuisine is represented by the nouvelle-plated cuisine at Made In India. One of the main goals was to excite more than just the sense of taste. Dispelling the myth that Indian food cannot be plated; we serve you culinary reflections of a new age at your table. The skilled team of Chefs have produced a meal that is artistically arranged on the plate and contains a wonderful mix of smell, textures, and flavors. Every dish has been thoughtfully infused with flavour and spice. The New Age includes Tinkae - Satays re-mastered the Indian way, Tandoor cooked Scampi with spiced guava compote, Mille Feuille Of tandoori Vegetables and Kasta crisps, the Study of Paneer, Mille Feuille Of Malpua to name a few. One can round off the meal, with the famous Chocolate Rasmalai Terrine, or our latest invention, Gulkand Infused Chocolate Slice with Betel Leaf Ice Cream.

Made in IndiaTM is a culinary journey, from the State of Hyderabad with its linkage to the Middle East, to the Vijaynagar Empire and its roots in the Telangana. The mighty Moguls and the aristocratic Nawabs of Avadh and of course the legends of Punjab.

Made In IndiaTM reflects self-indulgence and luxury. It also creates a theatrical experience by exaggerating objects and devices that are seen as Indian icons. Graphics and miniature paintings are used extensively as decoration on the ceiling blended with light hues to create an ethereal space. Transparent fabric and virtual chess boards have been created to define spaces of varying character within the restaurant. Untreated copper has been used extensively. It is a rich looking metal that changes color over time and therefore highlights the cyclic nature of a place.

Ambient music is a highlight as Indian sounds filter into the space through the coves. It is an eclectic restaurant where diners now have access to a unique experience, which brings together the New Age with the Old Age.

Made In IndiaTM is an MBD Group Venture and has been running successfully at the Radisson MBD Hotel Noida, which is the flagship hotel of the MBD Group. Made In IndiaTM is now looking to open at High street locations in Indian and abroad and is seeking joint venture partners and management contracts.

Radisson MBD Noida, managed and promoted by the MBD group, the largest publishing house in India, is strategically located in the heart of the bustling commercial district of Sector 18 in Noida, just off the toll bridge.
