Who says Valentine’s Day is only for lovers? It’s a day to celebrate love and for married couples this day should be an occasion to recreate the magic of romance and passion they experienced in past years. Marriage is a bond between two souls and if you keep it exciting then only you would be able to live a happy life. Here are some tips for the married couples to spend some wonderful hours in the company of each other.

Recreate the magic of first meeting

Weather your marriage is a love marriage or arranged; you must have some sweet memories of your first meeting with your spouse. It would be a good idea to relive those special moments together again on this Valentine. Try to recall the small things about that day like what you wore, what you talked on that day, where you had gone etc. etc. If possible visit the same place where both of you first met. Believe it or not but this would really rejuvenate your married life once again.

Enjoy a romantic holiday

A romantic holiday for just two of you at your favorite destination would be a great idea to celebrate Valentine’s Day. Everything should be planned in advance; all arrangements and bookings should be done perfectly to avoid last minute hassles. If you have kids then make arrangements for their comfortable stay with any trusted family member or with babysitter so that both of you can enjoy each other’s company blissfully!

Romantic Valentine’s Day dinner at home

It may be possible that both of you are not great cooks but making food for your love always gives a feeling of care and affection. Try to cook each other’s favorite dishes together. Lay down the dining table with some beautiful flowers and a bottle of wine. Make the evening more romantic and sensuous by having dinner in candlelight with some soft music at the background. This could be the most special gift you can give to your beloved on Valentine’s Day.

Writing love notes

Sending love sms is a regular affair, so be creative this time. Write sizzling love messages on heart-shaped notes and leave them at various spots like his wallet, her handbag, his Tiffin, on her dressing mirror, on his car seat and then see the fire burning!

Spa evening

Try this sensuous idea to make both of you fall for each other once again. Make arrangements in your bathroom to give it a look of spa. Keep the bathtub filled with warm water and rose petals. Also have glasses of wine & some dark chocolates to nibble in between. Buy in advance some good spa products and make your sweetie feel like a princess. After spa session two of you can enjoy a romantic movie while cuddling into bed.

Have fun with family

Family can also be included in Valentine’s Day celebration. A family picnic or a day out could be amomg the best options to have a blast on Valentine’s Day. Women usually love surprises, so if you can arrange a surprise party for your ladylove at home then you would surely be getting lots of hugs and kisses for rest of the year.

All these ideas are given just to tell that marriage is a very sweet association and it should always be handled with great love and care. The best thing you can do on this Valentine’s Day is to make a pledge to keep your married life healthy and happy. For a happy married life it is very necessary to give a feeling of commitment to your partner and pay attention to each other’s needs. This Valentine shower all your love and concern on your partner and feel happy forever.

Great post! I think it is very important for married couples to remain lovers! Marriage should be a perpetuation of and not an end to the passion
