Welcome Guest
Summer is almost here and all of us here in Delhi are already looking for options not only to cool our bodies but to cool the mind as well – a place that offers us respite from the heat, dust, dust storms and traffic snarl headaches that summer brings with it. And now we have exactly such a getaway just an hour’s drive from Delhi – the Platinum Resort.
Touted as a one of a kind waterpark and amusement resort, the Platimun Resort offers options for a day-long trip as well as overnight stay. Beautifully built over 14 acres of sprawling lawns, the resort offers not only water sports but also has a theme park with all the usual rides. The swimming pool is huge and lets one splash around without giving a feeling of overcrowding. And that’s not all. The resort also houses a health club and offers games and live entertainment by the poolside.
There is also a multi-cuisine restaurant to satiate the kind of hunger pangs that only water sports evoke. The rooms are clean and comfortable and a day-long picnic could be converted to a weekend getaway if you are too tired to drive back. The resort is also equipped for corporate meetings and conferences and offers bookings for birthdays, get-togethers and weddings.
Platinum Resort has on offer a package for a couple and two children below the height of 33 inches for a one night and two day stay at Rs. 4,200/-. This includes unlimited rides in the amusement park and waterpark and all meals and stay. Then there is the package for a couple for Rs.1,500/- for a day-long picnic, a room from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and all meals and rides. You could also book a family/corporate picnic package for Rs. 475/- per person. Children below the height of 33 inches are not charged, while children above this height and below the age of 12 are given discounted rates.
Platinum Resort is about 30 kms from the Peerha Garhi crossing in West Delhi. At the crossing, you need to turn towards Tikri Border and carry on from there towards Asauda. About 25 kms from the Peerha Garhi crossing is the turn to Asauda and Platinum Resort is about 5 kms down this road.
