Shakuntalam theatre gets latest system

To provide a new movie-watching experience to cinema lovers in the
Capital, Shakuntalam Theatre at Pragati Maidan here has acquired the
UFO projection system where movies are beamed directly from Mumbai via
satellite.

One of the first theatres in the city to get the new UFO technology,
Shakuntalam offers better picture quality, sound and comfortable
push-back chairs.

To make films accessible to the lowest common denominator of
viewership, the India Trade Promotion Organisation has reduced the
prices of tickets from Rs.90 to Rs.70 and from Rs.70 to Rs.50 including
entry to Pragati Maidan. During this fortnight, “Bhoothnath” directed
by Vivek Sharma, “Tashan” directed by Vijay Krishan Acharya and
animation movie “Ghatotkach” directed by S. Srinivas Rao are being
screened at the theatre.
