Pravasi Bharatiya Divas 2007

Organized by the Ministry of Overseas Indian Affairs, the Pravasi Bharatiya Divas aims at bringing the expertise and knowledge of the Indian overseas community to India and integrating it into India's development process. Pravasi Bharatiya Divas is focused to highlight networking opportunities and collaborating them to confer a mutual developing platform. Generating this synergy to excel together towards a bright India along with the Indian overseas community is what Pravasi Bharatiya Divas 2007 proclaims.

The Prime Minister of India, Dr Manmohan Singh will inaugurate the Pravasi Bhartiya Divas 2007 and Dr A P J Abdul Kalam, the President of India has agreed to be the Chief Guest at the Valedictory Session and will confer the Pravasi Bhartiya Samman Awards. In addition, the PBD will be addressed by all key Ministers from the Government of India, once again giving the overseas Indians to have a platform to network and interact with the Policy makers of India. And there will be many other well known speakers as well.

The Venue: Vigyan Bhawan for the main conference & the Talkatora Stadium for the Cultural evenings and Dinners etc.

The Dates: January 7th-9th, 2007
