Gurgaon may be known as the City of Malls but one of the biggest and best malls in the NCR has come up recently at Rohini in North Delhi – the Unitech Metro Walk Mall. With a total area of 200,000 sq. ft. Being one the biggest mall in the capital Metro Walk it also boasts of an excellent Amusement park – Adventure Island – housing several rides and swings specially imported from abroad.
Like all other malls, the Metro Walk Mall too has outlets of all leading national and international brands including Pantaloon, Reebok, Nike, etc. An artificial lake spread across a 3.5 acre area provides a unique and refreshing backdrop to the exclusive retail experience. However, the USP of the mall is the amusement park - Adventure Island - spread over an area of 62 acres and featuring over 20 different rides and attractions, supplied by leading European manufacturers such as Intamin, Moser and Zamperla, who supply rides to Disney, Universal Studios and Six Flags. The park is especially popular amongst children and teenagers.
A separate zone in Adventure Island has been designed along with Turner Networks and is called Planet Pogo, which houses a MAD Theatre and Pogo Plazas for children. How to Reach – The best way to get here would be to take a Metro to the Rithala station in North Delhi, about 40 minutes from Connaught Place. Else one could also take local buses going towards Rohini or hire an auto.
