The Polo Lounge is a typical English bar complete with wood panels, leather chesterfield chairs and fireplace, at the Hyatt Regency Hotel, serving a wide variety of wines and spirits, sandwiches, soups and salads. The bar is frequented by corporate honchos and the jet-setting crowd and also attracts a lot of foreigners. Spacious and tastefully decorated, it is the perfect place to unwind after a hard day’s work.
The Polo Lounge has a very large and exclusive collection of whiskies and rare single malts. One could try the 12-year-old Cardhu which has a smoky aroma or the 16-yar-old Lagavulin that smells of the ocean and is matured in sherry casks. And in case you want something really exclusive (and expensive) you could try the 25-year-old Highland Malt Glen Farclas which is especially popular with hardcore single-malt drinkers.
The snacks menu has a decent array of soups, salads and sandwiches all of which are good but nothing exceptional to write home about. Sea food lovers can try the beer batter fried prawns.
