Not Complying to Ganguly Committee report for Prep/KG admission for the session 2007-2008 by Mira Nursery School/Mother'sIntln

I would like to put on record my serious dissatisfaction on the way the entire process of selection of children for Prep(KG) was conducted by - MIRA NURSERY SCHOOL & their not complying to the Ganguly committee report.

There are many aggrieved parents who have the same opinion & frustations.

I have the following observations & comments:-

1. During the time of registration Mira Nursery had followed the Ganguly committee methodology to arrive at the total points. There was no mention of any child & parent interaction. They had mentioned that the candidates whose name would figure in the short-list (that would come out on 31st January) would be granted admission subject to verifications of documents.

Online Help for School Students

Here’s some good news for students scheduled to appear for their 12th class Board exams in March – they can now get their queries resolved by qualified teachers from the comfort of their study rooms simply by logging on to a website. An initiative of the Ministry of Human Resource Development, the program called ‘Sakshat’ can be accessed at http://www.sakshat.ac.in and http://www.sakshat.gov.in. This service, of course, is totally free of cost.
