Expecting a sharp rise in rider-ship on the occasion of raksha bandhan, the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation has made plans to make the most of the commuters that will come down on the Metro stations.
Soon, passengers at the IGI Airport will no longer have to wait in long queues for baggage inspection and security checks. In a first-of-its-kind in the country, an in-line baggage handling system will be introduced at the international airport’s Terminal II and the new domestic Terminal IB by the second half of 2008.
