Bure Phanse is a hilarious comedy which revolves around the meek personality of a D. I. G. police officer who is faced with a bunch of stupid officers in his office & an illiterate short tempered wife at home who rides rough shod on her husband. To make matters worse his only son is a smuggler & a gangster.

The several traps that the DIG lays to catch the smuggler and their failure combined with the interactions between him and his wife evoke a lot of laughter making the play enjoyable right till the end.
