‘Dear Liar’ tells the story of the intense relationship between George Bernard Shaw and Stella Campbell, (a famous actress of the time) which found expression in the hundreds of letters they wrote to one another over the years. The play chronicles not only their deep mutual admiration and love (despite both of them being married and not to each other!) but also that very significant era of History (1895 to 1939) which was witness not only to innumerable pathbreaking accomplishments in the world of theatre but also to both World Wars and the end of Edwardian Era.

With acting stalwarts like Naseeruddin Shah and his wife Ratna Pathak Shah forming the cast, the play is a must watch for all theatre lovers. Add to that the fact that the event is being organized by Cansupport to raise funds for cancer patients. A very interesting evening dedicated to a truly noble cause.

The Venue: Kamani Auditorium, Mandi House, New Delhi

The Date: August 11th, 2007

The Timing: 7 pm

The play is to raise funds for cancer patients. Entry through passes available against donation. For donations please call 26102851/69
